Statewide and Legislative Primary Elections

On Tuesday, August 26, 2014, primary elections will be held across the state.

Make it your priority to register and cast an informed vote in the primary election on August 26. There are roughly one million registered Independent voters in the state. For several races across the state, the primary election is where candidates are chosen. Participating in the political process by voting is one of the best ways you can help shape Arizona’s future.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce will be releasing 2014 Primary Endorsements for the State Senate and House of Representatives in June. The Chamber will be releasing General Election Endorsements at a later date.

The offices that will be on the ballot include U.S. House of Representatives, Governor of Arizona, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Corporation Commission Officers, State Senate and State House of Representatives. Voters may vote by mail, or at the polls, in either election. A complete list of candidates is available online.
